About Me
I'm the author of over a dozen books on Photoshop, Illustrator, and
Painter. I've written for a number of magazines. Most recently,
I was the Quick Tips columnist for Photoshop User magazine.
-
Photoshop has enriched my life so much.
It's like a journey that never ends;
there's always more to discover.
Photoshop issues a creative challenge
every time I open it.

-
Fiber is my other passion. To feel wool
and silk slip though my hands as it enters
my spinning wheel and becomes yarn
connects me to a skill that's older than
written history, and links me to the past.
I'm also fascinated by the smallest of beads--the seed beads--and love to make them into amazing jewelry. I'd rather create and wear hand-crafted beadwork than wear the finest of gems and gold.

Online Classes
- Introduction to Photoshop CS5
- Introduction to Photoshop CS4
- Intermediate Photoshop CS4
- Introduction to Illustrator CS5
- Introduction to Illustrator CS4
I currently teach a number of Photoshop and Illustrator classes for Education to Go. These courses are available though local colleges or directly from Ed2go. The links below will help you find a local school.
Each course repeats every month.
Intermediate Photoshop CS5 should be available by November 2011.
Two lessons are released each week for a total of twelve sessions.
The ed2go classes are unique because you can learn at your own rate, but you get to ask questions to a real human being (my TA or me) if you need help. We answer all messages within one business day. No book or DVD course can promise that! -
